Certifications have been put into place worldwide to verify the quality, safety, and efficacy of products for patients and consumers. AgMedica currently holds the following certifications.

IMC-G.A.P STANDARD
(CUMCS EQUIVALENCY)

AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is delighted to be granted the Israeli Medical Cannabis Standard (IMC-GAP) and is a recognized and accepted program under the Israeli Medical Cannabis Agency (IMCA).

This replaces AgMedica’s previous Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) certification by the Control Union Medical Cannabis Standard (CUMCS) for meeting their guidelines for consistency and quality in the cultivation and harvest of cannabis. The CUMCS-GAP standard serves as a practical manual for Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) of medical cannabis throughout in the world and is based on GACP guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), the GACP Guidelines of the European Medicines Agency (EMA GACP), Guidelines of the Dutch Government for Cannabis for Medical Use and the International Standard for Good Agriculture Practice.

HEALTH CANADA

AgMedica Bioscience Inc. has been granted a license from Health Canada under the regulation of the Cannabis Act for the following activities:

  • Cannabis Cultivation (including micro and standard cultivation or nursery)
  • Cannabis Processing (including micro or standard processing)
  • Sale of Cannabis for medical purposes

EUROPEAN UNION GOODS
MANUFACTURING PRACTICES

AgMedica Bioscience Inc. has been granted EU GMP certification (European Union Good Manufacturing Practices) for dried flower and cannabis extracts.

EU GMP certification is the highest recognition available to companies in the pharmaceutical space. AgMedica has demonstrated capability in following the guidelines that provide instruction for manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance in order to ensure AgMedica’s product is safe for human consumption. This certification is an essential piece needed to export EU GMP certificated pharmaceutical grade medical cannabis to importers and distributors in international markets that require EU GMP certification, allowing for global expansion.
