(“AgMedica”, “us”, “we” or “our”) is meant to be a space which is safe for individuals and their expression, questions, and as a source for information on news and developments related to medical cannabis and our company. Individuals who follow on any social media channel and/or participate in the AgMedica community on social media can expect us to endeavour to provide responses to inquiries, comments, concerns, and other forms of communication in a timely manner and with up-to-date information.
We want everyone to have the best possible experience and therefore ask that all members of the community conduct themselves in accordance with this social media policy (this “Policy”) which is intended to create a constructive, safe environment for all community members.

We reserve the right to remove any posts or content posted on our social media channels. Without limitation, we may remove or moderate any content, posts, and/or user which AgMedica deems to be in violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or policies, including this Policy and the Advertising Compliance Policy (see below) and General Posting Policy (also see below) which form part of this Policy.
General Posting Policy
Please be respectful of others. Please don’t participate in any behaviour which could reasonably be construed as libel, defamation, harassment, profanity, trolling, or abuse in any post on any AgMedica social media channel. We have the right to remove posts or access from anyone who does not comply.
Don’t post indecent or inappropriate content.
Personal attacks against other individuals, entities, members or our employees will not be tolerated. Our top priority is to serve our clients and we reserve the right to remove users who are acting in a way which may adversely affect other members on any of our social media channels.
We won’t tolerate spam, chain posts, promotional content that includes medical advice that may be unsolicited and/or unverified, objectionable statements, content posted by fake or anonymous users.
We respect intellectual property laws and require that you do the same. If you share content, please be sure you have the right to do so. By posting and/or submitting material to an AgMedica social media channel, you represent that you have the right to share the material in your submitted content, including (but not limited to) trade-marks and copyrighted material. Do not post or submit any third-party materials unless you have first obtained consent from the owner of such materials. For example:
- You must obtain consent from every person who helped you create your posted materials (e.g. photographers, videographers, etc.);
- You must obtain consent from every identifiable person who appears in your posted materials (note: if you cannot obtain the appropriate consent for an identifiable individual appearing in your posted materials, then his/her face must be blurred out and/or voice altered to be unrecognizable). You may not depict minors in the content you submit;
- You cannot post, submit or otherwise use (in any materials you post) any music, logos, trade-marks or other copyrighted materials (e.g. photographs, pictures, texts, lyrics, etc.) unless you have first obtained consent from the owner of such materials.
In addition to the rights that you grant to social platform, you hereby: grant to AgMedica Bioscience Inc.and its affiliates, in perpetuity, a world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, display, reproduce, modify, edit or otherwise use your submitted content (in any format or media); and (ii) waive all moral rights in and to your submitted content in favour of AgMedica Bioscience Inc.and anyone authorized by AgMedica Bioscience Inc.to reproduce or otherwise use the content. This includes the right to use any ideas you submit (including ideas about our products or advertising campaigns) in any manner that we choose, without any obligation to you.
Please remember that this our social media pages are public. For your own safety, please do not post or submit any personal information about yourself or third parties (e.g. addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses).
You hereby agree to release and hold harmless AgMedica Bioscience Inc., its affiliated companies and each of their respective agents, employees, directors, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims based on the materials you post and/or submit, including (but not limited to) claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trade-mark infringement or any other intellectual property related cause of action.
Advertising Compliance Policy
Our website users’ experiences are valuable and offer insights. However, AgMedica must operate in a regulated environment. Due to this fact we moderate comments and remove any which do not comply with Health Canada’s advertising regulations.
Content which may be non-compliant can include but is not limited to:
- Material that describes the therapeutic effects of cannabis.
- Images of medical cannabis process, live cannabis plants, or the flavour profile of cannabis.
- Any material that imputes an endorsement or suggested endorsement by Health Canada.
- Direct linking to any content on other websites which contains non-compliant content (including as indicated above).
Our social media channels are not the appropriate place to resolve issues, complaints or suggestions about individual sales and service experiences or our products. This does not mean we do not want to hear about such issues, but these types of concerns are best handled by trained representatives. If you’re interested in sharing comments or feedback outside the scope of these channels, you can send a message through the “Contact Us” tab on www.agmedica.ca. Comments may be forwarded to other departments and personnel to ensure appropriate follow-up.
